After reading a couple other threads it got me to thinking. We like to give stands at least a month between sets. Especially if we have done any shooting. I was just curious how long of a break you guys give your spots before calling again?

I have a few times called and shot dogs from the same stand on back to back days, but i'm not sure if i was in there core area or just happened to catch dogs moving through the area at the right time. Also, i don't think the sound of the shot messes with them to much if there not real close when the shooting is going on, but if they associate the call with bullets flying by there butt they do need a good long break before you call that area again with a different sound.

One other thing we do is try to switch up the sounds on stands. If we use a jack distress today, switch to a different sound on the next trip.

I will usually stay away for at least a couple days. But i have been dead set on a couple days and spent some back to back days chasing them. As stated above i will change the sound the volume and def the location! A lot of variables. But you cant get them if your not out there!
