I recently bought the HornHunter Full Curl Combo with the meat bag option. Has anyone out there used this pack for packing out deer/antelope? I don't know how much weight a person can reasonably expect to pack out with this setup.

Since they don't have an adjustable torso, mine looks like they made it to fit taller customers easily.

I'm not sure what the torso measurement is for this pack. From the middle of the waist strap to the top of the frame is 24".

I am 6' 2" and about 180 lbs and it seems to fit my torso well. There seems to be a fair amount of adjustment built into the pack for someone bigger than I am. I put 40 lbs in the pack and took a 3 mile walk and it felt good from a comfort standpoint.

I am curious as to what other people have experienced after putting the pack to use in the field.

Thanks for the measurement.... Glad to see it is working out... I'll monitor this post... It's definitely a pack of consideration. I have a 22 inch torso, so it is close.

I am 6-2 and about 220, depending on the month. I use the full curl with the meat sack and absolutely love it. Fits me great. I have packed it as heavy as I could handle, about 100-120 lbs and it handled it easily. IMHO, it is a great pack and the best I have personally used.
