Howdy folks! I've been on the forum for a year or so, but have never introduced myself. I'm a Hoosier from Southern Indiana and yes... that does make a bit of a difference. It never fails, the funny looks we get from the locals that learn we're from Indiana.... I guess it's that Kentucky accent we carry with us. Me and the friends that travel with me across this great land of ours, truly enjoy all that the outdoors have to offer us. We're very thankful for the friendliness we experience out of town on our hunts. It never ceases to amaze me how nice and helpful our fellow hunting brethren can be to birds of the same feather.
I'm a road warrior that's not afraid to travel to get to the game. I find myself yearly totin' my bird dogs to chase Grouse in Wisconsin/UP, huntin' up Quail/Pheasant in Kansas/South Dakota, also packin' in deep to the backcountry of Idaho for Elk/Mule Deer. Love to experience new things as a sportsman, such as my NW Ontario Black Bear hunt that I went on in 2013... man that was a great trip!
I feel fortunate to be hitting my stride at the age of 40 and am very thankful I have a wife that let's me play the game without a moment of complaint.
Happy hunting guys/gals... hope to see you along the way!
