High End Compact 50mm vs Low End 65mm

Need some help here. I currently own the vortex razor hd 85mm and a redfield rampage 65mm. Now I am absolutely in in love with the vortex razor. The new vortex razor compact is out and I am very tempted. My question is would there be a major performance difference between the razor compact vs the redfield 65mm given that it has a larger objective? I realize that performance on my redfield drops after 30 power but that is the razors max anyways. Will the razor perform better at distance as far as resolution? If the redfield is brighter at low light will I still be able to see more resolution and detail with the razor being not as bright?

From what I have seen, the Razor 50 takes the cake over every mid to low end 65 I've compared to. It's just as much an HD (or ED, etc) vs non-HD thing as it is an objective size difference.
