I have always used my own concoctions for jerky usually based on soy and worchester sauce. I wanted to try something different and bought a package of Hi Mountain seasoning original. I made a batch of jerky last weekend and was really impressed with how good the jerky came out. I made the jerky in an electric smoker using apple wood. I'd like to try a different flavor from this company and was just wondering what everyone's favorites were. The kids devour the Jack Links Teriyaki so I was thinking of trying the teriyaki kit. They have so many kits to choose from was just wondering if there was a go-to kit.

I use the garlic n cracked pepper and mesquite favors. I've never had a complaint when I make them with my dehydrator. I've used these seasonings on both whole meat and ground meat jerky. Both have come out wonderfully.

I have made quite a few pounds of snack sticks and jerky using the high mountain kits and so far I like the sweet & spicy and Cajun flavor the best for either sticks or jerky.

Peppered and the sweet and spicy are my 2 favorites. And the Cajun not far behind. Actually I like them all. The original is hard to beat as well!

It looks like I can't go wrong with my choice. I'll pick up the teriyaki; will just need to kill some deer this year to try it on.
