Hello, I have been looking at the forums for a couple of years now and thought I would formally introduce myself. I am from Rapid City and have a passion for hunting. I try to get out elk hunting every year, either myself or with a friend lucky enough to draw a tag. I have hunted Colorado, Arizona and Wyoming. I am currently building preference points in Wyoming for elk and moose. I have hunted elk, whitetail, mule deer, antelope, javelina, couse deer, turkey and mountain lions. Planning on trying my luck for moose this year with 14 points. The area I want to hunt keeps creeping away from me. Maybe I will catch it someday. Nice to meet you all. Happy hunting.

Welcome to the forum, do you hunt snow geese in the spring, this spring will be my 2nd trip out there we hunt around Mitchell.

Welcome. I grew up in sturgis. Brother lives in Rapid. Try and get home to hunt as much as possible.

Yeah, sodasooner I actually work for your brother and hunted with your dad and brother one day this year. Small world.
I haven't ever hunted snow geese. I do a little pheasant hunting out west river usually when I'm not hunting elk, deer or lion.
