Greetings from WV.

Been an Eastman's reader for a few years. Killed my only elk two years ago in Colorado - a 300 incher from outside Pagosa Springs. Currently collecting mule deer and elk points for me and my 12 year old son for Wyoming. Would also like to find a place in Nebraska to deer hunt.

Backpack Hunting in WV is tough...Only large pockets of public land are in eastern mountains. I like to backpack hunt (I'm a Mystery Ranch man) them in December during the muzzleloader season. I've killed over 20 whitetail bucks here, but all on private ground. I've now reached the point in life where I would rather spend my precious vacation time heading out west.

Looking forward to the forum. I need to learn as much as I can about Wyoming - plan to enter the draw for the 2015 season.

Hey neighbor. Welcome to the forum. Stop by KY on your way out west and deer hunt with me sometime. And most importantly, stick around and learn with us!!

Thanks guys. Enjoying the forum already.

Does anyone on here ever discuss Nebraska deer hunting? I can be out there in less than 20 hours.... would like to find some public land to roam there for muley's or big whitetails.
