So maybe you payed your dollar to cross the bridge of the gods or started on the WA side and saved the dollar? Not sure it crosses there, but has to be danged close. Have not been around the WA part of that trail much at all, the OR side a bit more. But none of it to go north or south so much as to go to point A or B, or chase a critter here or there when younger, or fish a hi Mt. lake.
Good on you, finish that schooling and get further west when you can. Matter of fact, some of my favorite country is the west river part of SD.
