I've been pouring over this site for the past couple weeks trying to soak up all I can so I figured it was time to register and make it official. Ive been hunting deer, ducks, and predators in Oklahoma for the past 20 years and I figured its time to make the move West.
A buddy from work and I are looking to give DIY Wyoming Antelope a shot in 2015 (may try to pick up a cow elk tag too just for the experience) and are looking at the Laramie/Casper region as we have no preference points and that seems to be the best shot at a guaranteed tag. It looks like we're going to have to comb over the maps pretty hard to find the accessible public areas but we don't mind driving a piece between units and hiking deep to find good spots.
I'm sure I'll be able to learn a ton on here from the guys who have been doing this all their lives. See y'all out there!
