Hello my name is Brent from Minnesota I enjoy all hunting and fishing and really enjoy hunting out west I've archery hunted elk in Idaho for serval years and been mule deer hunting Wyoming for the last 8 yrs. I really like Wyoming I visisted last summer and did some fishing and some elk scouting I've always followed EHJ I like how they promote public land diy hunts I get a great amount of enjoyment out of doing a hunt yourself seems like I always learn something every year successful or not it always fun. This next year will been exciting we planning a summer scouting trip to wyoming elk area 67 and do some fishing.

Mule deer hunting has been ok we have been saving preference ponits so we've been hunting region M as our second choice its seems like a tough area it gets hunted hard and there seems to be alot of hunters but we usually get our deer and a few nice ones but no real monsters

Yeah we hunted region f in 15' 16' decided on antelope this year, but I missed the muley. F was tough and grizzlies everywhere, so back to the drawing board! Maybe Montana or find a new spot in Wyoming.

I don't know a whole lot, but keep a clean camp and keep your eyes open at all times. Be extra careful in the thick stuff

Welcome to the site! I'm a Minnesotan that moved to Idaho late this summer. If you want a buddy out here, hit me up, I'm going to check out some areas this spring and hopefully do a good bit of scouting in advance of archery elk season.
