Went on my first elk hunting trip in Montana with my parents and grandparents when I was 4 back in 1980. We went to district 380 and camped on weasel creek outside of Winston. My dad shot a spike and I think I've been branded ever since.
I've hunted there in the past a few times with my grandfather, the last time was in 2005. This year a purchased a surplus big game combo and I cant wait to get back out there! Looking on some new ground for this trip.
Plan on moving to the big sky within three years when my last kid graduates. I'm a carpenter foreman and I see Bozeman is really rocking right now so hopefully it stays that way at least till I get there.
