Hello everyone.
I've been hunting for 21 years and in the fall of 2013 I made my first trip to Wyoming where I was successful in taking both a mule deer and antelope. The mule deer was region C and the lope was a OTC tag that was purchased while I was out there.
It was quite the experience and I learned a lot. On that note I have decided to go back this fall and will be purchasing a left over lope tag. I know the difficulties with land access but have a GPS with the land ownership chip.
If anyone has some advice on the areas with leftover tags it would be greatly appreciated. I know I could go back to unit 16 but would like to try a different area. What about unit 19? Does anyone lope hunt unit 2 in the black hills?
I figure I will keep going out in difficult areas until I can bud up enough points to draw a better area. Any hunting is better than no hunting.
I signed up last fall for EHJ and have been lurking on these forums for a while.
Thanks in advance for the help and knowledge these forums provide.
