Hello, again... from Wingmen,
I am Todd Helms or THelms, used to be Grizz. I've been a part of this forum for a long while now but have been absent for some time. I'd like to take this opportunity to reintroduce myself.
About a year and a half ago I pitched an idea to the Eastmans about starting up a Wingshooting publication in the image of the Journals we all know and love. They liked the idea and Wingmen was hatched. Since its inception we have steadily gained altitude thanks to all of you who have supported it and helped it grow. For that we, I, am and are eternally grateful. However, we are not done, there are big things on the horizon as wingshooting seasons around the nation begin to approach and open and with those seasons come hunts and experiences, please share with Wingmen your pics, videos and stories for submission in our Wingbeats newsletter and to be featured on our Social Media accounts. If you have not already followed us on Instagram or friended us on Facebook please do so and spread the word by sharing our content across the flyways of this continent.
As Wingmen has grown so has my involvement with the Eastman brand and, in fact, I am now the Managing Editor for the Hunting Journals as well as the Editor-In-Chief for Wingmen. I could not be prouder to be affiliated with this amazing company and look forward to working and growing with not only the Eastmans but with all of you as well.
It just doesn't seem that long ago that I first opened my account as Grizz on this Forum as I joined the online community that is so passionate and dedicated to Hunting in all its forms. I'd like to thank all of you for the wisdom I gleaned from this forum by sitting around the online campfire with you and basking in the glow of the hunting camaraderie. I urge you to continue to make this forum a place of community, learning and fun as we go into yet another season of hunts.
Best of luck and see you in field,
Todd "Grizz" Helms
