Ya, what scares me is that my wife is in there every morning pulling hay out to feed........lets say she is not as observant as i would like sometimes.

A few years back I was in Wy goat hunting and was sneaking on all 4's trying to get a shot at a good'un. I eased up to a rock pile and was looking face to face with one of them critters! Needless to say the stalk was over, as I jumped up and yelled loud enough to be heard in the next county! Definately not one of my favorite things to get up close and personal with.

If your wife is like mine no matter how many times you tell them not to wear flip flops to feed they do it anyway. Even after she was stung by a Arizona bark scorpion and we spent 3 days in the e.r for two of those days the only thing touching the hospital bed was the back of her head and the heels of her feet. She lost her vision within 20 minutes of being stung and was paralyzed within an hour. It was not fun especially when the antivenom is in another state and they won't let you use it because it's not approved by the gov. Yet she still insists on flip flops daily. Ah women!

My wife will come limping in from the barn every 6 months or so complaining that one of the horses stepped on her foot. She is always in slippers and flip flops! I don't think the light buld is working yet:D

About every 3 months we have the same conversation.

Me-"honey you may want to put jeans and boots on to ride"(she is in spandex shorts and flip flops)

Her- "i ride like this all the time"

Me- yes dear....

Her- (2 days later) "babe look at these blisters on my ankles they hurt"

Me- "wow those are big"

Yet she still does it. Bless her heart.

packer58- Thanks it was the scariest time of my life watching her lay there and there was nothing anyone could do. Add not knowing the outcome and that made things much worse. She is all good now the venom just had to run its course.

Just killed a 35" snake here a couple weeks ago. I thought it was big until I went to show the pics to my friend. When I got there he showed me the pick of a 48" snake with 14 rattles he killed the same day. I hate those things! As far as the wife goes, I told her to start looking a little closer when she steps out the back door since our new house backs up to a big field. Her resoponse: Why babe? This was all while we were looking at the snake I had just killed! All I could do was shake my head.

You guys crack me up. My wife thought it was a good idea to wash the minivan with a scotch-brite pad. She now wants a new car since the van looks like crap.

Now that's funny! We were walking thru a parking garage a while back and you could see the footprints on the roof from where people take their shoes off and slap the ceiling with them. My wife stops and asks me how do people get their legs that high??
