I just received my pair of Hanwag Alaska GTX's and was wondering what water proofing everyone has been using?

How about Nik-wax I've heard this does screw up gore-tex membrane?

I've used that before but didn't care for it much. I use Montana pitch-blend leather treatment. It works great and sticks well to the leather.

I use Montana Pitch Blend or Obenauf's. They are very similar in make-up and both work very well.
