I was out in unit 57 wyo putting up some trail cams for deer and I'll tell you it will be a great year for antelope. There are bucks that are already special
Probably, but just because you got doe tags didn't mean you can't bring some horns home. I shot a doe last year with a couple inch horns and seen another with 6"ish horns.I hope this means the antelope will have more meat on them this year since all I have is two doe tags.![]()
Great idea! Sounds like a plan to me. I'll be focusing on trophy does this year. Guess that means I need to pack the spotting scope!Probably, but just because you got doe tags didn't mean you can't bring some horns home. I was thinking the same thing. I've seen a few nice bucks already around Laramie, but the hot/dry forecast for at least the next 2 weeks makes me nervousLooks like the weather is turning dry and hot down here in the SE, hopefully it doesn't last long. There is a lot of grass and water, but it won't last long after 10 days on the 80's. Hoping for a few mild thunderstorms.
Bucks will not grow much from now until September. Antelope horns start growning in early winter and grow very fast.Quick question for the more experienced antelope hunters. How much more will a billy grow from now until September?
