Giveaway Preference Points

While responding to the Muck Boots Giveaway I had a thought.... Eastmans needs a preference point system to complicate the giveaway system😊. It's only right that on a forum for hunters that complain about the different states' draw systems that there's some giveaway controversy... The 'ol everyone has a chance just won't do!

Preference based on number of posts... nah... I didn't get in on the "ground floor" and don't have enough posts. Thinking about theses with "Max Posts"...

Bonus system with some give aways for anyone and some only for "senior members"... That could have some traction...

Resident vs NR.... Gonna twist this to my advantage... Some give aways for "Res" members living inside US and some for "NR" posting from outside US😀

Will have to flip over to the more serious "preference system - have we gone too far" thread for some more ideas..

That is a great idea, lol! I have the most terrible luck when it comes to anything random. I still can't resist putting in for them any more than I can resist those dang car dealership flyers that say you are a guaranteed winner. Half the time I don't even get the coin they promised.

You are right, there might be some post creep if you went to a max post system and you are pretty far behind, lol. The very specific giveaways that would reduce the odds to my favor would probably not attract such good sponsors. Like a resident senior member living in Gillette, WY with the forum name Againstthewind giveaway would probably only have a prize like a half eaten snickers or something like that. And there would probably be a huge influx of people to get in on the giveaway anyway, lol.

Need a hybrid since there are 2 boots. 1 person can get one and the other go to someone else.

We would need a MRS section for this and who would write it? You then would have the argument on the odds, blue chip/greenchip, and questions of "should I put in"

The odds of winning here are insanely good. Look at the number posts, that is the entries. Just wait, this spring is going to fun...
