Not quite 1 MOA, but at 11 years old, not too bad with the old 30-06. I think it was only his second time with this rifle. His rest was a pair of my boots with a backpack over the top. I will blame that flyer on the wind.

Start em early !!!! Very nice to see!!!!!

I have a great story that I tell often. At 10 years old over summer break I had to go to the range for work.
I took my daughter along and told her if she waited patiently we would break out the .22s and do a daddy daughter shoot after the work shoot.
A couple of my guys offered to TEACH my kid how to shoot…… big mistake.
At 10 yoa she could out shoot me (and I could most certainly out shoot them).

I really enjoyed having a 10 year old girl out shoot 6 of my work kids.:eek:

That's great. Get them interested while they are young. Some of my best memories are either on the bench or shooting prairie dogs.
