You retired at 51-52? Nice.
Yea I'm one of those weird people who had my third job at 17 and stayed for the next 34 years in the grocery industry. My wife put in 37 before in the same career before retiring. Shout out to the UFCW!
Living within our means allowed us to retire at a fairly young age instead of working our entire lives to pay for all the "stuff" our friends and co-workers seem to need.

I hope you had a great 74th birthday. I'm way behind you at 48. As I do age, I'm going to keep this quote in my head and keep it positive, because it's so true.
"Do not regret getting old, it's a privilege denied to many"

Happy birthday CC, from a 79'er. We keep going because we keep going. We're planning our 2016 hunts as we speak.
I will be leaving for my 4th season deer hunt this Sunday with one of my hunting buddies from California. We will also be planning our 2016 hunt to Wyoming for antelope & deer, Colorado for Antelope and elk and possibly a Texas pig/turkey hunt too.
