I just need clarification that if you buy a general season deer tag, you can use that tag for rifle OR general archery only seasons, correct?

Remember to purchase an archery permit. If you've held an archery tag in an another state that will satisfy the requirement on the archery affidavit you need to fill out. Permit is $20.
I don't hunt whitetails other than when I decide to put in for a whitetail only archery hunt, but I thought that with the general deer tag you could harvest either a mule deer or white tail?? but white tail only tag is just as it says. am I wrong?yep. or any general short range or muzzy hunts also.
in idaho general hunts, you must decide wether you wish to hunt mulies or whitetail when buying the tag. other then that any general hunt for that species is open for you to hunt.
for elk you must pick the zone you wish to hunt and it is only good for that zone.I do miss the options we had 25 years ago but such is life.
I believe that's right, you can hunt either whitetail or mule deer with the general regular deer tag. The regs mentioned something about antlered deer if a deer has antlers longer than 3 inches, it's legal, . The whitetail only seasons have different dates and that tag would have to be a whitetail.I don't hunt whitetails other than when I decide to put in for a whitetail only archery hunt, but I thought that with the general deer tag you could harvest either a mule deer or white tail?? but white tail only tag is just as it says. am I wrong?
