Garmin Inreach

Wanting some advice on the garmin Inreach. I read it does not have an SD card port. Sounds like you can't use the Onx public land cards anymore but garmin offers their version of the same. Anyone have any experience with this unit? Also a little concerned that the battery is rechargeable and not standard AA.. Could make for a rough trip if the battery dies in the field.

I've got the older generation InReach, just before Garmin purchased them. Used it for an entire week hunting deer last November. Great peace of mind for me and my wife back home. Good product. Mine is the DeLorme AG-009871-201 inReach SE.
