Hey All,

My father and I are flatlanders from the Midwest and we are setting a plan to go on a Colorado trip in 3-4 years. This would be a full DIY hunt, in hopes to draw a muzzleloader tag. If we were to get 3 points built up by the time we attempt to draw, what would be some units to look into? We would be more than willing to hike into the back country, roads are not needed for us.

Any help from experience hunters would be appreciated. I have done some research online and it makes my head spin! Feel free to PM some units where we may want to look at.

Thanks and good luck to all those making it out this season!

Don't count on needing the same amount of points in 3-4 years that you need now. Things change, drought, bad winter or it just gets talked about to much and the whole world applies for the tag
