I've never drawn a tag, but I've seen the Elk there. There are some nice bulls taken out of there. It is wide open foothills, up to 130,000 acres open to hunting. It is a big base and a lot of land to hunt. I've stayed on base in the officers quarters with my friend, hunting quail but there is also a small town not far away or there was a campground.

My property is just to the south of the base. There are plenty of elk I have seen driving through to get to the property. Pigs are all over on our place and have seen them off the side of the road around the base as well.
