Hi folks! I thought I'd see what's going on with Eastman's. I started hunting in the late '60's but moved up to elk hunting in '97. I've hunted in Montana a half dozen times until the wolves depleted the area my friends live in, Idaho once and Colorado a few times. I've been lucky enough to take a few home with me. I've walked in every morning with a pack, wilderness horse-backed and tailgate camped. So far I've only used an outfitter for one drop camp hunt, everything else was DIY with friends. I'm getting kinda long in the tooth, but my mind has over-ruled my body. Elk hunting gets into your blood!
