That's crazy! I remember a similar thing where guys found a bobcat alive in Pyramid and saved it. As awesome as the fishing is out there Pyramid is a strange place that always spooks me out.

Here ya go feather!

Went to Pyramid for a Lunker and found something much Stranger! The strangest day I have experienced in my 54 years!!!
Headed to Pyramid this morning to meet my dad and spend the day on the lake. It started out as most due with us meeting at the boat ramp and heading out for a great day of fishing.
You see, the morning hadn’t started to well due to the fact that when I got gas in the boat in Fernley the pump shut off didn’t work and it sprayed gas all over the boat. Little did I know that this was just the start of a number of weird circumstances I experienced throughout the day. Check out the list
1. Gas shut off failed and sprayed gas all over the boat. Great………
2. Went into Crosby’s lodge to get a cup of coffee and check the board out. I noticed a lure on the floor near the rack. I check it out put it back on the rack where the others where. Went and looked and some other fishing supplies came back by where I had put the lure back up only to find the same lure back on the floor. This was weird because there was no one else in that section of the store. Picked it back off the floor and bought it along with a cup of coffee.
3. Got to the lake put the boat in and proceeded to head south. All of a sudden my main motor alarm goes off and indicates the motor has overheated??? Overheated, its 12 degrees outside!!! Look at the digital water temp gauge it says 112 degrees……… WTF… So I shut it off and start my trolling motor. Once I got the trolling motor started I got my phone off the dash and turned it on. The phone proceeds to show me a thermometer and indicates the phone has overheated and cannot operate at this time. Double WTF !!!!!!!! Started the big motor after a few minutes and it worked fine the rest of the day.
4. Trolling along catching a few fish and see something in front of the boat that not a fish, not a bird and it’s sizeable and definitely has 4 limbs. OMG don’t tell me what we all fear is in front of me. Both me and my dad look at each other and determine we have to go see what it is. Holy Crap it’s a mid sized MOUNTAIN LION. No visible injuries. And had not been dead to too long. See pictures
5. Took pictures and went on our way by this time I was a little spooked and wanted to get back to fishing.
6. Caught all but 1 fish on the lure I picked off the floor at Crosby’s
7. At the end of the day we had caught 15 fish. One of my last fish was small and I was going to keep it for dinner but had to measure it. Put my Gloomis Rod and Calcutta reel in the pole holder of the downrigger and proceeded to measure the fish. Nope too small, I flipped the fish overboard. Somehow it got caught in the line of my rod and bounced my favorite rod and reel into the depths of Pyramid Lake, wow – Really!!!.

That's a crazy day. There must have been an imp following him around that day. Cool story. I wonder what the story is with that kitty, where he floated from, etc.
