Just booked a great cabin near Soldotna, AK for 3 weeks in May/June in 2019. My wife and I were going to pull our rv to Ak , but decided to fly instead. Got the cabin booked(thanks to AKaviator), now need to fill in the blanks.....car rental, airline tickets, fishing charters, etc. Plan to do lots of fishing, sight seeing and picture taking.

Sounds like you are going to have a full plate next year.

Outfitted muzzle loader elk hunt and a great fishing trip.

So far all I have on the books is perhaps a fishing trip to Alaska and staying in a friends cabin on a river.

I'm thinking about a fishing trip in the future. Alaska is definitely addictive.

I'll be there in August hunting Caribou.

I also have to thank AKaviator as I couldn't have put it together this year without his help.

Good luck on your fishing trip! It sounds like it will be an amazing time.

I'm heading up to Calgary in a couple weeks for work, but plan on spending a couple days fishing the Bow River in and around town. There are some big trout there, so hopefully I can land a few!

There's a Facebook Alaska hunting abd fishing group that people will give tons of charter recommendations.
