I am a first timer for hunting public land out west. I currently live in Virginia so hunting is quite different but I am very exited for the change. I successfully drew a leftover antelope tag for unit 19. I have been doing as much research as possible and I keep seeing people talking about unit 19 is very restricted. I see a good bit of public land to the northwest and smaller portions to the east and south. Will I not be able to drive on some roads going through these BLM lands? I am more than willing to walk in and pack out a quartered antelope. I do have onXmaps and have been looking at the roads shown on there I just don't want them to be restricted. Thanks for the help in advance! I'm always willing to learn from people who have done what I have not.

I'm another newbie to antelope, being from FL. I'll be hitting a diff limited access unit.
Trespass regulations are much diff from what we are used to east of the Mississippi.
If a county road does not intersect the property, you can't access it legally. That is what cuts most of the public land from public use my unit.
2 tracks on BLM are driveable if you can get to them. If they leave the BLM to say, go around a hill and then loop back in, you can drive to the point where it leaves BLM and then walk from there. Folks with permission to be on the private property can drive onto the BLM at that point and keep going.

The changed the web-site all up so I didn't find the links right away, but the local BLM office is a good place to call or email. They have been helpful for me in the past. Big fires are all to the south, knock on wood, so hopefully they aren't too busy. If I am thinking right, Cow Creek Road is a public road to access that area, but check me on that. I haven't been there hunting. If antelope didn't taste like sagey bacon I would be all over them, but not my thing. Those state sections (blue) are sometimes accessible and I like them sometimes I guess. There are antelope in that unit for sure. That probably helps a bunch, lol.

@Againstthewind I'll definitely look into cow creek road and contact the BLM Office for some info.

A lot of people really like antelope steaks, I have accepted that I am weird. Don't take my advise on that one, or a great many things probably. Engineering degree, doesn't like bacon, black bushy beard, no wonder I get searched at the Canada border both ways every time.

Antelope is up there as one of my family's favorite dish, second only to wild turkey (not the bottle kind)

The county roads are shown on the county gis web map. BLM will be able to tell you if they have public easements on roads as well.
