Go try on lots of boots. Just because they are expensive doesn't' mean they fit your feet. I made the mistake of ordering a pair of Kenetrek boots without ever trying them on. Then proceeded to spend 2 years trying to find a sock/insole that did not cause my heels to be rubbed raw even on short hikes. Now I have over $500 invested in a pair/insoles/socks/boots that I use around the house but not for hunting. Don't do this.

Go try some different boots on and pick which ones fit you the best. forget about price, brand, etc...
