We finally got some much needed snow. We got about 6" at my place (6800') and the local mountains got a lot more.

I got to use the snow blade I bought for my Yamaha Rhino utv and it worked slick.

I flew back into Grand Junction yesterday from a quick trip back east; south of GJ to Delta there was a good covering of snow clear down on the valley floor (which is pretty unusual) and it looked like Grand Mesa got a good bit of snow. I had to scrape about 3" off my truck in the airport parking lot, but when I got to my house (really only about 5 miles from the airport, near the base of Colorado National Monument) there was NONE!!

Had several more snowstorms this month and late January. Looks like we are getting to about 80% of normal. More snow forecast starting tomorrow night. We really dry in early winter, but making up for it now.

Well, almost a month later than my OP, it's snowing like hell! Got up about 5:30am and let my Lab out and it was spitting a little snow. Now it's 10:00 and it has nor quit. We have about 4" on the ground and it is still really coming down.

I should have known, took the blade off my Rhino last week....crappola.

We got the best snow fall all year this passed weekend. Probably the same storm you are getting.

If I take the blade off of my 4 wheeler it will usually snow enough that I have to put it back on. I was hoping that it would happen this year but it hasn't where I live. I took the blade off when I headed to Arizona in February and all we have gotten for snow is dusting.
