Finally drew my bull tag!

If there's anyone that has drawn this tag in the last few years that would like to share some information about this hunt would be great.
My DYI plan right now is to be in the area 3 to 5 days before season to locate as many good bulls as possible. I have the entire season to get on a good bull. Horses are getting to old for this one so it will be a quad and pack hunt.

Thanks, Chuck

NV-Hunter, The 6 Point in pic # 3 is a dandy bull, I don't know how i'm going to handle the next two and a half months before my scouting starts. No other tags drawn..................going to be a long summer.............

No i havn't but a buddy of mine from Susanville drew a bull tag for that area this year. From what i understand, the elk tend to be scattered in that unit. With a cow tag in your pocket you should be just fine. If your son-in-law has any general info on the Schell Range, i'm all ears. Right now i'm leaning towards the east side of the Schells in the McCoy creek area.
