Last year I took my two boys antelope hunting My older son used a 280 and my younger son used a 7mm-08. In the 7mm-08 my boy was shooting 120 grain TTSX. I have been very impressed with this bullet he has killed quite a bit of stuff with it. Out of the 280 my boy shot 140 grain BST. Both did an excellent job at 285 and 315 yards. I have been thinking about loading up some 280 rounds with the 120 TTSX, I think it would make a pretty awesome antelope round.

For many years, I shot the Sierra 140 gr spritzer in the 7MM Mag. Fine flat-shooting load. Maybe the 120 grainers would have been a better choice, LOL.
