Hi everyone,

I’m exploring different electronic target shooting systems and came across the LASR (Laser Activated Shooting Range) training system. I’m curious if anyone here has hands-on experience with it.

How accurate and realistic is it compared to traditional live-fire or pellet systems? Does it effectively help improve aim, reaction time, and overall shooting skills? I’m also interested in the software side.

Are the scoring, analytics, and feedback intuitive and useful for tracking progress over time?

Any pros, cons, or tips for getting the most out of LASR would be really appreciated.

thanks in advance for any help

I don't use any electronic practice system for actual hunting. I have used them for competitive shooting, especially in moving from target to target and sighting.

I question whether the absence of actual recoil and the functioning of your firearm during a reload can be simulated without actual shooting and practice. There are too many exterior factors like weather (especially wind and temperature) are absent.
