Sounds like we should make a job offer to their Director to replace the people our idiot Governor selects to run the CPW.
I’m very surprised they allowed it. I wish they would have let the ranchers shoot them to get alittle payback.
They killed them with a helicopter and trapped a couple to relocate.
This valley is right by my place that I bear and turkey hunt. I thought maybe I would see one but never did. Kinda makes sense since they only eat cows and not that there are many deer or elk to chase around. They did kill a cow elk last year but other than that it’s been cattle.
Im happy for the ranchers and the ranch hands. Those boys have been sleeping in their trucks all night trying to keep their cattle safe. Those boys are wore out!

I agree 100%. I was born and lived in California until I retired in 2000 and moved to Colorado. Cal F & G (I still call them that!) used to be one of the best wildlife departments in the US. I remember when they intruduced Chukkar and brought the Tule Elk back as a legal game animal. All they do now is chase pot growers in the national forests.
