Even with a grain of salt, that pretty much sums up my observations. There was an extremely low success rate for muzzleloader where I hunted confirming my observations of that horrible shot to pieces unit....
I almost wish I had not opened that up. It makes me feel sick to think that I used 5 points last season to secure an incredibly worthless tag in an area that was reported to have had a terrific herd population by the DOW and Local Biologists..
That was the first time I used points to hunt an animal in Colorado. It will be the last time I make that mistake without scouting the area first. That is a FACT...
The Colorado DOW and their "Animal Studies" definitely cant be relied on...
Boots on the ground from now on before I use my points.
