Elk Refund Check

Just received my elk refund check in the mail today. Seems like the G&F got them sent out fast this year.

Good luck to all who drew Elk tags this year.

No big deal. I was hoping to pull a type 4 cow tag as a 2nd choice so it was a long shot. I only had 2 points in the regular draw so I didn't expect to draw anyway. Now I have another PP for next year....so there is a bright side as well!! Didn't post to complain, just figured there might be others waiting for the refund check also.

Now I can roll the refund into an antelope application. Glad WY posts the elk results early so a person can put together a strategy for deer and antelope. Still hoping to make a trip to WY to hunt for something this year. I really look forward to hunting Wyoming.
