Elk Bugling Yet?

upper 40's with rain showers this morn, I was out with my bow looking for a buck. walking real slow through sage brush to get to where I was going I heard a gurgle and thought is was my stomach for a sec then all the sudden I hear a loud a$$ scream that shook the hell right out of me! a bedded bull 10 feet from me! I jumped back at the sound and that made the bull jump up he looked at me for a couple secs and trotted off. he was a big boy too! haha way awesome.

Just got back from unit 12. Little to no bugling. But saw several animals each day including a nice 6x6 and 5x5.
