Got an archery tag for 590 and 530 curious if anyone had any good starting points in these districts? Thanks in Advance

Theres a lot of nice elk up in the bull mnts, hardly any public land, and a bunch of ass hat land owners (not all but a lot). Buddy of mine shot an awesome bull twice and hopped the fence on to a piece of private and the land owner wouldnt let him retrieve it. If you can get permission to hunt along the river ull get an awesome bull, if not bring a gps and hunt the small sections of public that border the private. All of my buddies get that tag every year and shoot good bulls but they've lived here in billings their whole life and its only a 25 minute drive before there hunting. They also have permission to hunt some private sections. Good luck, it can be done, just gunna be a matter of solving the checker board land owner ship.
Thanks JonBoy. I have the Montana maps Gps program for the public private. Its a big area and I was just looking for some starting points.
