I saw the raculator used once. I wasn't all that impressed with it. Its difficult to understand how it can be accurate since some of the measurements are taken from a wheel that spins. I don't understand how it could measure accurately since you could add or subtract inches by keeping the wheel in the same place on the antlers and rotating the body of the raculator. A cheap tape measure works just as good as anything else and there is plenty of info on the internet on how to measure.

I've seen one called Buck Score for whitetail deer, http://www.buckscore.com/

It is for estimating though not an accurate scoring for Boone and Crocket and Pope and Young. I kind of wanted one that I could rough score pictures of deer I take pictures of. I have Mule deer and Blacktail out my way and I have a Mac. Last I read Buck Score was for PC format and geared towards Whitetail bucks. I'd like something for Mule deer and Blacktail.

Go to the Boone and Crockett website and go to "scoring your trophy". It will walk you through the measurements and give you a score when your done. Very easy.

I have a couple of mounts on the wall..... I was just curious on what they might score. Always here high numbers being throwen around...... On ones I see on TV and they Look smaller than what I have on the wall..... Not saying that I have any Monster By Any Means... But, a couple of Nices Ones....

Did you ever score your deer, just wondering why when you make a post that I don't get a copy of it, or do I have to personally visit your home page.?

I got a raculator for christmas this year! I kinda winged it and tried it on my deer and antelope and came up 7'' short on the deer and 2'' short on the antelope. I think it is pretty accurate if used correctly but I need to go over exactly how to score them some more and take my time to measure them exactly right. Just had to try out my new toy:)
