Has eastmans drawn the winner for the elk hunt yet?I wonder if the winner is going to use a bow this year since the last couple of winners used a rilfe.I have nothing against rifles i would just like to see the winner to first try for a few days with a bow since you won the hunt from EBJ.If it gets down to the last few days pull out the gun.Any one else feel this way.Good luck to the winner looks like a great hunt hope to win someday.

Yes, it is too bad it isn't set up that way. They should figure out a way so that the bowhunting prize is actually for a bowhunt. But a paid subscription is a paid subscription. I'm betting the odds of getting someone on there that would really be there just to try and bowhunt would be low.

I would be happy using either one. If I had the option I would use a rifle. I lean towards bow hunting but do both. With the great hunt you get and it more than likely being a once in a lifetime chance I would choose the rifle.

definitely brings up a good point i think ive read somewhere where you have the option of using one or the other and like you said its a lifetime oppurtunity

I would also like to see the winner try with the bow for the first few days at least. With that being said I know alot of guys that get EBJ that don't even hunt with a bow so it would be a little tough in that situation. I hunt alot with a bow myself but like alot of you guys have already mentioned. I think I would be inclined to pull out the rifle for the last couple days. It truely is a once in a lifetime hunt for most people. Myself included.

I would do it with a bow but then again if I won I don't think they would let me use a PSE on the the show!

I guess I could volunteer to win the hunt, and shoot one with a bow, seeing as I don't even own a rifle. Ha Ha.

Please let me be the First.... Bow or Tag Soup. I'd be thrilled.
