Hey all,
We are wanting to do a podcast where we field your questions. So if you have a hunting related, gear or MRS related question, leave it here and we will record a conversation covering as many of them as possible.

I will toss a few out to bump this babe up...

1) Is there any easy way to determine the sequence of application deadlines for the various western states?

2) Is hunter education taken in one state automatically accepted by another state? Do you have to have the hunter education card on your physical person in every state you hunt?

3) Can you cross private property via an easement to gain access to public land?

4) How big a concern is Chronic Wasting Disease? Is it increasing in most game management units?

5) Are first focal plane scopes better for hunting than second focal plane scopes?

6) What is the accepted minimal foot pounds of energy for a well-placed shot, to be considered ethical?

7) Can you hunt with a match-grade bullet? Why? Why not?

8) What is the minimum items recommended to be in your pack for a one-day hunt?

That is all I can think of at the moment to light this candle.

What are some of the dumbest/funniest mistakes hunters have made in the field?

I once hiked past the fresh scent of elk before daylight on my way up the mountain. Pretty dumb to walk past elk just to get where I thought I wanted to go.

Other than google earth and speaking to folks who know the areas, how can some from the eastern states locate good hunting spots.
We all know boots on the ground is the best practice, but not a reality for most folks 2,000+ miles away.
