Early Archery Units 29, 30, 30A

Hello brothers and sisters. I'm starting to do some planning of my fall-back hunt if I don't draw any controlled hunts in any states. Of course Idaho is at the top of my list for OTC Elk hunting opportunities. I've talked with a few guides and a couple biologists, and I'm hearing some good things about units 29, 30, and 30A. In particular unit 29.

Does anyone here have any advice or opinions to offer? How is the wolf situation? Big Bull potential? Any idea if I should expect to be in grizzly country if I do a wilderness hunt?

Also, I am looking for an outfitter that will do a drop-camp. Don't really need the full service drop, since I have all the gear I'll need and I'm fully capable of hiking myself in, just need an outfitter available to pack out if I kill. So far I've come across Big Timber Outfitters. Haven't been able to get them on the phone yet. Anyone ever used them, experiences?

Thanks all.
Respectfully,

We quit hunting 29 about four years ago because the biologists have been sending everyone to 29 for the last 20+ years. It's still good if you can find an area with little to no pressure but the elk aren't very vocal. Sorry don't know anything about 30 or 30A.
