Well found out I drew the unit 27 early archery bull tag in Arizona. Never hunted that unit before though am beyond excited to get a crack at it. Should be good rut activity with the season being Sept 16th-29th. Glad my New Years resolution was to shoot a dozen arrows everyday, and stuck to it. Been pouring over google earth and maps. Got some areas I want to go check out first hand. Hoping to get up there at least a dozen times between now and sept. Ith majority being in August. I know the Wallow fire changed a lot of 27, and the patterns for the elk.
If anyone has any info on this unit their willing to share, Id trade info on Coues deer locations in SE Arizona. Figure dosent hurt to ask if anyone wants some Coues deer info for hunts. Either way I will be putting boots to ground and getting trail cameras set. Hoping to find a big ole bull! Good luck to others who drew in AZ. Hopefully NM draw goes good for everyone as well.
