The drawing permit application period is open now. It closes on December 15th. There are a few changes, as always, so look them over carefully. The hunt supplement can be found on the Alaska department of Fish and Game's website.

Hello sir, we were thinking of going caribou hunting in 2015 did we miss the drawing? We would like to go on a diy drop camp in the bush. My buddy was looking into a bush plane to drop us off, but he learned the outfit he used in the past closed down, can you refer me to a good outfit. Are you a pilot?

You won't need to draw...most of our caribou hunting is over-the-counter tags. I can sure help recommend some flying services that could provide what you're looking for and tell you about some to stay away from. I am a pilot but I don't do any commercial flying anymore.
