Draw question

So I'm a non-resident and this year I drew an early archery 161-162 tag. It was third choice with the first two being extremely hard to draw so I'm real happy with it and plan on hunting Table Mtn. I'd like to be able to hunt the same unit every year for early archery and it looks like I could consistently draw either a 10 (Rubies) or 17 tag every year. Do you guys think I can get 16 every year? I'd rather put in for a unit I am likely to get so I can get to know it better than bounce around. I'm not a trophy hunter so quality really isn't an issue although I know most Nevada units hold good deer. Wilderness and backpack is how I hunt. What do you think?

Interesting stats. I don't know how I missed those but thanks for posting. Looks like 0 points, which is where I'll be, is not a lock for 16 but should be fine to get 10 or 17. I'll see how it goes this year then may have to start looking at 17 for a consistent draw and take a few walks through Arc Dome to see how it looks. Thanks again.

The unsuccessful's listed there are only 1st choices. there is no way to know how many 2-5 choice apps there were, but how many points the ones that drew had is a pretty good indicator of what it takes to draw or the best I have found anyways. Good Luck on your hunt!

There are a few guys on here that hunt 16 every year, I'm sure you'll get some good knowledge from them. Calling Feather!
