Just received my latest EBJ and was sad to read that David Long will no longer be with Eastman. Was excited that he will be writing another book though!

What He's leaving Eastman's?! Man I really have enjoyed David Long, that is exciting to hear he's writing another book, but man that's a bummer, oh well I wish him all the luck and am confident Eastman's will bring in yet another hardcore DIY'er!

That is too bad that he's leaving Eastmans after what seems a way too short time frame. I have really enjoyed his obsession and insight on hunting mule deer. I also enjoyed his down to earth nature. He will be missed. However, I wish him all the best with his future endeavors and I look forward to reading his new book. With that said, I hope someone like Nate can step into the editor position and keep moving forward the solid Eastman tradition.

It is too bad he is leaving, and I too wish him the best of luck. Really looking forward to the new book and video though. I agree, my vote is for a guy like Nate Simmons to take over as the editor. He is the real deal and gets it done year after year.

It seems Eastmans is so good that it is becoming a launching pad for other personal careers. I know that whoever Eastmans chooses as a successor will be of the same caliber person!

I thought David would be one to stick around for awhile. I wish him luck. And I agree with Jerry, Eastmans has become a launching pad and that speaks volumes for Eastmans.
