Danner Gila's

Anybody else had bad luck with Danner Gila's?
I've tried different socks, socks with liners, tape and/or moleskin on my heels. Doesn't seem to matter what I do, after a couple hours I rub gnarly blisters on my heels.

I wear Under Armour Tactical Zip boots at work ever day with no problem. I also used a pair of Under Armour Tabor Ridge boots during this last year's hunt (after I'd already rubbed blisters) and did a lot better.

I have no problems with blisters when wearing mine. The problem I have is they seem to have no traction in wet conditions. I was in MT last year and trying to side hill in the rain and I swear I could have skied down the hill wearing them.

I now am only using them shed hunting on level ground, and shopping around for a new pair and brand.

I am not sure it is still possible to get a blister on my callus crusted feet.

I wear danner pronghorns most every day of the year, so my feet do not blister easy.

and no ,those are not really my feet, that would take more commitment then I have.
