Dan Pickar takes a dip in the pool

The video had some great effects. How confident was Dan that he wasn't going to damage his pool?

I was thinking the arrow would at least go a few feet but was surprised it went as far as it did. As far as worrying about damaging the pool, I shot the first shot the longest length of the pool in hopes of not hitting the wall. When it was all said and done, the arrow went about 12 ft underwater before petering out. Phew!

Video was nicely put together. However, I don't know that I would have taken my bow into the pool...
I wouldn't recommend taking your bow into a pool either but the bow is fine. The strings got pretty dried out but other than that, no other damage was observed.

Pretty cool, not to take away from your video but I seen one on YouTube of guys bow fishing carp underwater as well I was very surprised that the bows even shot underwater. Guess just takes some people getting the courage to try it and see what happens. I wonder if it may shoot further without fletchings, or what would happen if you shot from the water to a target on land. If the arrow would still lose as much momentum. Really cool video though
