I went up by Sherman Pass early last week. Saw two does the first night and that was it. I found a couple of meadows below Sherman Peak with lots of beds (one had a couple of dozen + beds) and lots of track and I heard something moving through the woods near me one morning, but that was it.
Friday night I went over by Peppermint Creek, saw two more does on the way up, two does passed a place I was hiding the next morning. I found a fresh buck track, beds and lots of deer poop, but never saw the buck.
I had to bug out and go home, I would have liked to have waited. I'm going to try and get up by Sherman Peak one more time this weekend.
Need more time...
