D14 and D16

Hi Everyone,
I am new to Eastmans (came from SCH forums) and am also new to hunting in California, although I have been here for 10 years now. I grew up hunting in Colorado, and currently do an annual trip to Wyoming.

I am going to spend the next 9 months scouting to figure out which are I want to hunt. I thought I would reach out on here and see if anyone is willing to share knowledge, or even be willing to go on a scouting trip with me. I live in Escondido.

I am currently checking out both D16 and D14.

Hey man! I am in Riverside so not too far from you. You may want to hop on over to the New Members section to introduce yourself there! I hunt D14 as well, must be really tough to hunt in Colorado and then have to come back to California! Haha

ocurtis, curios how things worked out in Ca last year? I am rather new to the area and plan to hunt D-14 during the 2018 General season. Shoot me an IM if your still active in the thread.

I can relate, hopefully you'll have a chance this season. If all works out I plan to be in D14 during the first week of the firearm opener, keeping my fingers crossed lol
