Finally got out to the range. Dialed it at 100 and then took it up 2 inches.

Amazing what this thing can do - this is off a sled-type rest. 110 gr Triple 7 powder, 225 gr FTX bullet in crush rib sabot.

Shoots about 20 inches low at 200.

I should update this...

The 225 gr FTX bullet performed very well on a 100#-class FL buck.

It was a bad shot - think i just centered the cross hairs on the body and let it rip. Seems like got the liver and def got the stomach at about 40 yards - bullet went thru, sending out a spray of gore. Like taking a styrofoam coffee cup full and tossing it into a garbage can lid sized area. The red tip from the bullet was laying in the blood. Never had that much blood at the scene of impact before. The remainder of the bullet penetrated into the ground and actually left a quarter-sized hole with dirt spray too.

Blood trail was heavy at first and faded to light but it lasted all the way to the deer 200-250 yards later. Basically tracked him thru a jungle.
